Now i have the 'Couldn't load fileSysCheck.cfg. Make sure Call of Duty is run from the correct folder.' I did try to create a dummy file with the name in the 'main' folder. And then another file that it asked for but did not help. Renamed the call of duty 4 folder.

Steam-> 'delete local content' and then download it again. Then paused it and copied ALL files besides the files in the 'main' folder (i copied the video folder below). I discovered that it is now downloading some files I DID NOT HAVE!

These where the ONLY files in the main folder: localized_english_iw00.iwd localized_english_iw01.iwd localized_english_iw02.iwd localized_english_iw03.iwd localized_english_iw04.iwd localized_english_iw05.iwd localized_english_iw06.iwd now it is downloading: iw_00.iwd iw_01.iwd iw_02.iwd iw_03.iwd So obviously files didnt get downloaded. The iw_**.iwd files are the main game files. The localized_*.iwd are just WAV files (voices). Can anyone verify the content of the ' main' folder please?
